In Writing we will writing an information text ‘all about me’, writing our own poem based on poems by AA Milne and finally, we will be writing an ending for the animated tale Caterpillar Shoes. 

In Maths, we will be focusing on Place Value (within 100), learning to read, write and partition numbers to 100 as well as positioning them on a number line. 

In Religion and Worldviews  we will be learning about who is a Muslim and what they believe. 

In Geography, we will be learning about our local area, ‘Meanwood’. 

In Science, we will be learning about the characteristics of living things. 

In PSHE, we will be learning about how we can look after our bodies in our ‘My healthy self’ unit. 

In PE, we will be developing our ball skills. 

In Computing, we will be learning about technology all around us. 

In Music, we will be exploring simple patterns. 

In Art, we will be creating drawings to tell a story. 

In French, we will be learning how to greet each other and ask questions. 

Our Oracy focus is ‘something special to me’.
