In Autumn 2
we are learning...
In Writing we will be learning to follow and write a set of instructions as well as using the book ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne to inspire our story writing.
In Maths, we will be completing our Addition and Subtraction unit focussing on numbers up to 100. We will also begin to look at the properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
In Religion and Worldviews, we will be learning about Incarnation with a focus on the Christmas Story.
In History, we will be learning about Guy Fawkes.
In PSHE, we will be learning about connecting with others.
In PE, we will be developing our jumping skills and creating a dance around the theme of Explorers.
In Computing, we will be learning about Information technology in the world beyond school.
In Art, we will be focusing on primary and secondary colours, colour mixing, and creating textures using different tools
In DT, we will be designing, making and evaluating a healthy wrap.
In Music, we will be practising our songs for the Nativity which we will perform in December.
In French, we will be learning the numbers 1-10.
Our Oracy, we will be exploring gestures while talking.
