In Oracy we will be developing our debating skills throughout weekly discussion topics and lessons.
In Religion and Worldviews, our Salvation unit will be focussed on our enquiry question ‘What difference does the resurrection make to Christians?’
In Science, we will further develop understanding of electricity – considering circuit symbols, circuit diagrams and the affect of voltage on a component.
In History, we will learning all about Windrush and aim to answer the enquiry question ‘How has migration changed Leeds?’
In PSHE, we will be looking at wellbeing – considering our future move to high school and focussing on this in a positive way and reframing our thinking to a positive mindset.
In PE and Games, we will be building on our basketball skills with Sam. We will also be looking at communication and tactics in team work.
In Music, we will be looking at musical styles.

Author Week
During Author Week, our class has been diving into the world of William Shakespeare, exploring his life, language, and the many plays he is famous for. One of our key focuses was the tragedy Macbeth.
Working in groups, we rehearsed and performed dramatic poetry inspired by Macbeth, bringing the characters, themes, and atmosphere of the play to life. We enjoyed expressing the tension and drama of Shakespeare’s writing through spoken word and performance, helping us build confidence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of this classic text
