In Writing, we will be exploring The Magic Paintbrush by Julia Donaldson and using it as inspiration to create our own imaginative stories. We will also be writing a non‑chronological report all about China.
In Maths, we will be completing our unit on multiplication and division. After that, we will begin our measurement unit, focusing on:
- length and height
- mass
- volume and capacity
- temperature
In Religion and Worldviews, we will be learning about the events leading up to the Easter story.
Our Geography learning this half term will focus on China—its geography, culture, and key features.
In DT, we will be designing and sewing our own pouches.
In PSHE, we will be learning important life skills, including jobs, money and the internet.
In PE, we will be creating our own dances inspired by the movement of water.
With our PE coach, we will continue to develop our hand and ball skills.
In Computing, we will be using robots to build and test our own algorithms.
In Art, we will be finishing our 3D clay houses.
In Music, we will be developing our tuned percussion skills.
In French, we will be asking and answering questions.
Our Oracy focus this half term is ‘Something I’ve made’. Please bring in an item you would like to show.
