In Autumn 1 we are learning…
In Writing, we will be writing our own narrative based upon The Borrowers and moving on to write a non-chronological report on the Angler Fish.
In Maths, we will be focusing on Place Value (within 10,000), learning to read, write, partition, and compare numbers to 10,000 as well as rounding. We will then move onto adding and subtracting up to 4 digit numbers.
In Oracy we will be focusing on working with others, listening and responding and gaining confidence in speaking.
In RE, we will be learning about the Creation story and what Christians learn from it.
In Art, we will be drawing and focusing on tone, texture and proportion.
In Computing, we will be learning about on-line digital tools all in the safety of our Virtual Learning Environment.
In French, we will be learning words for body parts and reading a French text.
In History, we will be learning about the Romans and what happened when they came to Britain.
In PE, on Mondays we will be learning netball techniques relating to co-ordination and balance. On Wednesdays we will be swimming.
In PSHE, we will be learning about making healthy choices.
In Music, we will be learning musical structures and playing the glockenspiels.
